green Daddy

GREEN DADDY

Back in the year 2009,
The end of our ragging period marked a new era of friendship with our seniors.
Though we were suppressed, forced to do stupid things & slapped at times, we also grew up to be smart, confident and social;
most importantly to stick together as a team, as a community in times of adversity.
Now and then when I think of all these stuff, I realize the real ‘Ragging’ is not within the campus gates.
It’s outside those gates where Life tests you, beats you brutally & if you persist, it also rewards you…
‘Ragging‘ within the gates was much like a pep talk.

As the sophomore year began, we were the new senior students of the college.
We could see a lot of new faces in the campus but still the sex ratio sucked @ 5:1 i.e. for every female, five males had to compete.
“It was a Do or Die!” situation, and
Those who emerged victorious were praised by the fallen knights and the NITians of Durgapur.

My stupid friend & I were roaming around the campus, corridor to corridor
Picking up on newbies, showing off our new power
Yeah! Becoming a senior student of the college, a member of the cult was like a super power & It was this time when i realized that
the ones above can always shit on the ones below in hierarchy
The true nature of corporate world.

So I was trying my best not to be the worst senior in the premises.

Suddenly we heard noises that was turning into chaos from the first year classroom LH-10 (Lecture Hall-10)
I said to my buddy, “I don’t reckon our first year batch going this wild, let’s teach them some manners.”
He agreed.
The moment we entered the room, the chatter turned down.
With every step, the voices settled down until there was a pin drop silence.
I addressed the class in a loud and firm tone
I asked them to amuse me with the discussion that was going on.
Nobody Dared.
Damn! I felt so powerful.

I took a stroll around the room while my other friend gave some shit to them.
There were some empty desks and benches at the back.
Just for fun, I pushed the desk and it collapsed making a loud bang that shook the entire classroom.
I could smell fear.
I felt fucking Badass.
After few more minutes of lecture and intimidation,
On our way out, I saw a pretty girl dressed in white, must confess 'beautiful eyes'. I looked at her and she smiled.
All this was happening like in the movies, ‘Love at first sight etc. etc.’
My stupid friend interrupted, “20 dollars says you can’t propose her”.
Still looking at her I replied, “Sure can do my friend”
As I walked to her, I think she got nervous and shook her head down.

I asked her name & she replied “Sofia Debbarma”.
I asked her native place & she replied “Tripura”.
She had a soft voice and prettier smile. J

My old roommate, John was from Tripura. He had taught me ‘I Love you’ in Kockbro, native language of Tripura.
                                                          ‘I Love You’
                                                   ‘Ang Kno Kno Humzago’
These words flashed in my mind the moment she said she’s from Tripura.
I told her I knew some Kockbro
She looked amazed
I said with a broad smile “Ang Kno Kno Humzago, Sofia”
She was awestruck I guess. Her friends kept asking her.

The following evening my stupid friend got numerous calls from the girls at LH (Ladies Hostel) enquiring about some mischievous senior that proposed to a first year girl.
You see, this stupid friend of mine was a Devil in disguise.
                 He was the flirtatious type
While I was the decent and gentleman type.
The girls @LH were surprised to know that it was not the Devil but the Gentleman to pull it off.
Since that day they nicknamed me as ‘GREEN DADDY’
As the description Sofia gave was some senior student in a green T-shirt.
I was happy to have made quite a name for myself.
Later I met her and cleared that it was just a joke.
However somewhere inside I wished to seek a relationship but I chickened out; I acted like a pussy maybe for the fear of getting rejected.

And thus ends the story with us just being friends.

I saw a Ghost
I saw a Ghost

It was the summer break of 2010; I was in my pre final year and had stayed back in college for the vocational training.
DURGAPUR hot as always, I stayed @ room 310 Hall-1, my roomies had gone home and I was left all alone. An empty mind is a devil’s playground but what about an empty room? All day long I used to play games, watch movies and yeah! Pornography. It was hot as hell to step out of the room, can’t just blame myself.

Everyone has some kind of phobia, I am afraid of darkness, it’s called Lygophobia. Whenever I sleep alone I never turn off the lights, yeah coward! People call me that but I experience nightmares when I sleep in the dark.

Anyways back to the story, for dinner I went to the college back canteen. The route from hostel to back canteen was quite long so I always took a detour along the workshop area. What appears normal in the day can appear pretty much daunting and scary at night.

The way to back canteen via workshop looked deserted, nothing but just a bunch of old workshops with windows broken and shutters down which gave it a look of the haunted. Whenever I looked through those windows it seemed someone was looking right at me, it gave me an eerie feeling. The only thing that gave courage was the dim street light.
And in my mind I used to utter “as I walk the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil as the lord is with me”.

THE ROUTE
Days passed and that route became regular for me. I reached canteen safely had my dinner and farted on the way back to the hostel. Nothing really happened but the place still spooked me somehow. Whenever I crossed the workshop my mind played games with me, I thought that someone would call my name from behind and as I turn my head I would see a headless ghost, or that I would see lady in white or a hand waving me from the broken window s of the workshop and I was determined if any of these things ever happened I would run so fucking fast as if I am supposed to win a medal for India in Olympics.

With these thoughts I was getting paranoid but nothing happened in the way.

People say “The best surprise is when you do not expect any surprise.” That’s what the Ghost had in mind I guess.

One fine night around 7:45 pm I decided to go back canteen. Before I locked the room I made sure that G.I.JOE: Rise of Cobra, Percy Jackson lightening thief, Jennifer’s body, Tera Patrick J and few more movies were on download.
I locked my room and went to room 216 where John & Rio were cooking food. I asked them if they wanted to tag along. I left their room and walked out of the hostel, just a few steps ahead of the hostel gate, I felt someone behind me.
If it was the usual days I wouldn’t bother turning around to see who it was but since it was summer break and very few people stayed back, I turned to see if it was a familiar face, but nobody was there.

It was a moon lit night. No such thought occurred to me at that time, I just started moving ahead and again I felt someone behind me.
I was moving along the boundary of the hostel and the lights centered in the playground Lords was casting the shadow in the wall. As I looked left to the wall I could see my shadow and few meters behind I could see another shadow.
This time I was sure there was someone behind me. A thought came that it might be a thief. This time when I turned around, I saw someone standing next to a tree few meters behind. I asked who it was but there was no reply.
I mustered my courage and was ready to battle just in case anything goes wrong. I started moving towards the tree and that someone was still standing there; with every step I took I tried to see the face but it was unclear and the next moment Holy Shit! I was stunned there was no face; I mean no eyes, no nose, no ears, just a black face and a human like body but no hands and legs, it was completely black and filled with darkness hovering just above the ground.
For an instance I thought my eyes have been fooled and I moved another step ahead to confirm and Oh my God! Oh my fucking God! I couldn’t believe my eyes, my heart beat paced as it was going to burst and I sensed a rush of adrenaline and I ran as fast as could to the street. I was dumbfounded and I stood under the street light still looking at the tree, now with every second the figure seemed to move and come towards me.
I was so frightened that I almost crapped my pants; I was gripped with fear still watching that figure coming towards me. I wanted to run but I couldn’t. The figure now appeared to be distorting and moving slowly. I started reciting prayers and thought this was my end.

All of a sudden I heard a bicycle bell ring, I turned left and there was this person riding bicycle, I made a plan that the moment bicycle nears me I will start walking with it and I did. I had no courage to turn around and see, I just kept walking and walking till I reached a small market area called LH more.
I entered a food stall, sat down and drank a chilled cold drink to edge off the shock. I was still in distress thinking what on the earth I just witnessed?
I have been hearing stories about ghost and supernatural beings since childhood but never had I encountered any one of them until now.
I had my dinner and while on the way back to the hostel I thought may be its waiting for me there. So I entered the hostel through the other gate, still afraid of what might happen next.
I was so afraid I didn’t go to my room; I went to 216 and stayed there for an hour or two to calm my mind, told John and Rio about it but those assholes were making fun of me. Finally I went to my room and I was getting so paranoid, I called at home and talked to my parents, that’s how I calmed a bit. I took out my rosary and prayed to the Lord and slept with lights on.
Well it didn’t just end there, next day onwards I got very sick, headaches and fever; I avoided the training and went home for treatment.
After two weeks I got better and then I researched about it. The day was a full moon night “Poornima ki raat” a perfect bliss for supernatural beings. After a lot of thinking I reckon that the shadowy figure was the spirit of the deceased and that particular night when I saw it, it saw me. I guess it just wanted to say Hello.

As of date whenever I narrate this story of mine it still gives me goose bumps.

My First SSB Experience...

My First SSB Experience

For all my brothers out there, we are MEN and being a MAN is not easy.
I believe being a woman is equally difficult and challenging. All have pros & cons and together we balance the world, as we know it.
My voice as one MAN to another is that one day we have to go out and explore the world, lots of responsibilities, have to be strong to support family and dear ones in times of need.
The transition from BOY to MAN is remarkable, lots of things to learn, to experience and to explore. By the time you know it you are halfway there.
I always thought of myself as a responsible and clever lad. At the age of 22, I completed my B.Tech and was working in a private organization with a decent salary.
All was fine, there are good days and then there are bad days.
I resigned from my job in order to find better career prospects; it was like looking at a beautiful green valley but once you enter, you find many other animals, tough competition for survival.
I started writing exams, even qualified for few PIs but the most memorable experience was

 AFSB (AIR FORCE SELECTION BOARD).

This was my first SSB experience. A golden opportunity to join the INDIAN AIR FORCE as a Commissioned OfficerI cleared the AFCAT 02/2014 (Air Force Common Admission Test) along with EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) and then I filled AFSB Dehradun as my preference for selection center, the nearest one would be AFSB Varanasi but I wanted to visit my relatives at Dehradun, also past two decades of my life I had never been to the North Part of India.

So there I was with my bags packed and ready for my journey to Dehradun.
Dehradun, Uttarakhand, INDIA

I was to attend the SSB on 17th November 2014; I reached a day ago and stayed at a hotel near the railway station where I met a defense aspirant Mr. Ragi and together we shared a room. All afternoon we discussed about SSB and later went to a nearby tour to TAPKESHWAR DHAM, a place famous for shrines.
The place had small caves and a river flowing adding to its serenity and scenic beauty.

Dehradun Railway Station
Next morning all suited up in formals, we reported at the MCO railway station Dehradun. From there the bus took us to our venue, AFSB Dehradun, Clement town.
It was 7:15 am in the morning, the weather was chilly and everyone was shivering. We were asked to fill some forms after which we were provided with breakfast. Chest numbers were allotted; I got 121 out of 234. We were asked to sit inside the auditorium.

The first phase of SSB testing began with OIRT (Officers Intelligence Rating Test).
There were 100 questions in total to check the aptitude, the logical and reasoning ability of the candidate.
The second test of first phase was PPDT (Picture Perception and Discussion Test).
We were shifted to a smaller classroom; a hazy picture was shown for 30 seconds, and 4 minutes time was given to write a story about our perception from the picture. Later in groups of 15, a group discussion was held where we had to narrate, discuss and arrive at a common consensus.
I think my narration was good but discussion part was not so fruitful.
Thus ended the first phase of SSB testing at AFSB Dehradun.
After lunch, the chest numbers were declared. I got screened in. It was a wonderful moment for me, I felt quite confident.
Again chest numbers were allotted, this time I got 49 out of 110.

We were asked to carry documents to the auditorium for verification purpose.
After verification, few more candidates were sent back due to discrepancy in documents. Now the count was 101. Chest numbers were circulated and this time I got chest number 45 which became my identity during my stay.

I still remember it was 7:00 pm, we were inside the hall, and it was cold and dark. Wing Commander ASK Sharma took the dais; he was in charge of our batch D-AFCAT (M)-187. He explained us the rules and regulations to be followed during our stay.
We were also asked to fill the PIQ (Personal Information Questionnaire) forms, on the basis of which we were to be interviewed.
We were cold, tired and restless but somehow we managed to fill the forms.
It was 8:15 pm by the time it was over. We were all marching in a line towards the candidates’ mess area. Oh Boy! It was dark and cold such that one could see the breathe.
I made good friends with chest number 44, Rajish Nair and chest number 46, P T Singh (PTS).

The mess, it looked like a well-organized hostel. The dining hall was in the center and a badminton court  next to it, there were other rooms like ANTE room, mess office, games room, TV room, small canteen etc. all that we could use for the entire stay.
All mobile phones and electronic gadgets were seized.
The idea of staying away from the world, away from addictive technology sounded recreational and refreshing.
We were provided with dormitory accommodation. Ours was room no.5, twelve people in one room, 12 different thoughts, 12 different ideas, and 12 different minds to get along with. Starting from chest no. 37 to chest no. 48, and by the end of the SSB I knew all of them by their names.
After dinner, PTS and I explored the premises. I learned to play pool and later went back room to acknowledge other roommates. It was just introduction that day and most of us went to sleep.
The next day was scheduled for PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) followed by psychological tests.
The PABT is for candidates who want to join as pilots for the Indian Air force. It is a combination of written and machine tests to access the candidate's potential of becoming a pilot. It can only be given once in a lifetime.

On the second day, all of sudden I woke up to some Bollywood song at 6:00 am in the morning; it was a common alarm for the candidates. I only had psych tests at 11:00 am that day but still as my daily regime I got up, freshened and went for breakfast.
After breakfast there was lot of time till our next engagement, so we went to play basketball and I enjoyed playing it though not much of a sports person I am.
The boys came after PABT and then we were taken to the examination hall for the psych tests. The Psych tests included TAT, WAT, SRT and tell me about yourself.

In TAT (Thematic Apperception Test), there were 11 slides and 1 blank slide. Each slide had a situation in it unlikely PPDT this time the picture would be clear. We were to observe the pictures for 30 seconds and for the next four minutes write a story explaining what led to the situation, what is going on and what will be the outcome. For the 12th slide, there was a blank picture where we had to imagine a situation and write a story.

In WAT (Word Association Test), there were 60 words shown in the screen, one after another with a time interval of 15 seconds. After every 15 seconds the word would change. So after seeing the word the first sentence in mind is to be jot down at an earliest.

In SRT (Situation Reaction Test), there were 60 situations in a booklet; we had to write down the reactions to those situations.

At the end, there was SELF DESCRIPTION test:
What your parents think about you?
What your Teachers/ Employer think about you?
What your friends/ colleagues think about you?
Your own self opinion
Qualities you would like to develop for future.

My psych tests went well but that’s what everyone thinks.
After returning to the mess, Rajish and I pleaded to the JCO in charge for a book out which was granted around 3:30 pm and book in time was 6:15 pm. We went  to a nearby market. I had to buy PT kit for Group Task, had to make calls at home and roam around.
PTS and I, smoked cigarettes, shared stories and strengthen the bond of brotherhood.
Phanjoubam Thoibinaobi Singh aka PTS was originally from Manipur working in Delhi, quite a fellow, jolly good and helpful.
Rajish was originally from Kerala based on Delhi, energetic and talented fellow; one hell of a classical dancer, the boy had been abroad for dance shows. Well, that’s quite a talent.
There was a University called Graphic Era University at the very heart of clement town, and after our work was over we decided to visit it.
Lots of pretty faces, damsels in distress, we had a very good evening in the town of Dehradun. We went inside the premises before time.
At 7:00 pm we were assembled and the count was taken. Every evening there was a count after book in and some Officer would pay a visit, listen to our problems and act accordingly.
Later that night, we had good time sharing each other’s experiences about the tests, the mess food, the Graphic Era girls etc.
I came to know the name of my roommates,
Chest no. 37 Akshay              Chest no. 43 Achin
Chest no. 38 Neerav               Chest no. 44 Rajish
Chest no. 39 Vikramaditya    Chest no.45 Sangay
Chest no.40 Vikash                Chest no. 46 PT Singh
Chest no. 41 Akash                Chest no.47 Sanjeev
Chest no. 42 Palash                Chest no. 48 Karthik Thakur

Third Day was Personal Interview.
The basis of the interview was to compare the candidate along with the submitted PIQ and self-description, and to judge whether he is fit for service to the nation.
The PIQ and self-description serves as the perfect ammunition.
Well, all I can say about my interview is I tried to be normal and real as possible. I tried to answer the questions in the order it was asked. The Interviewing Officer asked me about the latest news, the Indian Air Force and some HR and Technical questions.
Overall it was good but again that’s what everyone thinks.

Fourth Day was Group Task;
We got battle ready in the early hours of morning.
All must have heard of Men in Black, Well, we looked like Men in White, shining and riding towards glory.

We met out GTO (Group Task Officer) in a small room, he kick started the day off with Group Discussions and then Group Planning Exercise.
Later he took us to our arena, where he explained us the tasks.
There were five tasks in total:
Progressive Group Task.
Half Group Task.
Command Task.
Individual Task, and
Final Group Task.
I did not perform well in the individual task
Lots of candidates got injured themselves in Individual Task but the injury subjected during the task was equal to battle scars.

Our room no. 5 was free for the fifth day while others had interviews and group tasks; we lifted our team spirit by playing cricket in the morning and later went for tour to nearby market, Buddhist temple and again Graphic Era J.
We discussed, laughed and cherished the last night in the candidates mess.

22nd November 2014
Final day 22nd November 2014.
It was Conference Day where the President of the board along with a group of 15-20 people including Officers, GTOs and Psychologists all dressed in Uniforms would be sitting and viewing the candidates individually for the last time.
Each candidate was given an average of 2-3 minutes inside the conference room.
My turn came, they asked me how was the stay and my suggestions for improvement of the center and with a thank you it was over.
Result was announced after lunch, Wing commander ASK Sharma told us not to lose heart and try again next time. He said, "Henceforth the chest numbers called upon shall be recommended", and then he shouted, “Chest number 71! “, a loud applaud from candidates and we were eagerly waiting for the next name, Mr. ASK Sharma said, “That’s it! No more recommended, try again Next year”.

Many were heart broken, some had their last shot at this, everyone was sad. Some were alleging set up of result. I don’t believe that it was a setup, may be or may not be but the whole SSB process is quite confidential, you never come to know why you are selected or why you are not selected.
But I still believe in the system, like Wing commander ASK Sharma told, “In SSB, you never know when it’s your day”
The mobile phones and belongings were returned. Travelling Allowances made to the freshers.
I was glad to get my TA.
All our bags were packed and we were ready to go. With some group photos, we all bid adieu and au revoir.
All 101 of the Candidates

With this episode of AFSB Dehradun, I was not only taking good and cherishable memories but also friendship, trust and OLQ (Officer Like Qualities) that I had built during my stay.
During the whole tenure, we were treated like officers; I mean good food, disciplined way of life, a new outlook towards self and many more.
I feel myself more confident and this has helped me even after the AFSB.
The AFSB has tried to teach us something during the stay; it’s upon us how we take it!
Wishing all the best to my blog readers if they are to appear for such services.

Convocation 2k12

First flight INDIGO 6E-523, first awesome feeling of flying in the sky and the fear as well.
Watching the city lit in its own lights early morning, and then the sky coloured with the blood red meadows of the Sun rise, felt God is an Artist J

The pretty, gorgeous, sensuous, smart air hostesses made my day, on keen observation I found that they were amateurs, the time they demonstrated the safety instructions, two out of the four damsels looked at each other, shared a naughty smile but at the same time turned professional to attend the passengers.
I asked for a glass of water and a cup of tea, believe me the tea was horrible…

KOLKATA earlier called CALCUTTA - the city of JOY

Kolkata - City of JOY

Landed Kolkata - the city of JOY, Yeahhhh!!! But for me the definition was different. The city of art, the city of love, the city of Tagore, the city of Goddess Durga, the city of architecture, the city of poets, The city of Howrah Bridge,  the city of RosoGulla,  the city of tram cars, and The city of BOOBS J
I am a man of my word, before coming to Kolkata, I had promised my junior, to be precise a girl junior that I’ll be buying her drinks as my JOB treat.
Met her after almost six years, she grew some belly but was attractive as before, took her to KFC, New market, esplanade, Kolkata, we were stunned by the receptionists, two cute deaf and dumb girls. I was touched and we talked to them in sign language, hopefully they understood our order and within 15 minutes the chicken was served, a bucket of 8 pieces chicken and two mojitos, after a battle with the chicken, the bodies were found nowhere, only bones…
We went to the bar after lunch, she took a Bacardi lemonade and I as usual at 180 ml McDowell’s with two cubes of ice, perfect for me…
My colleague always said " DuDE! Rum never disappoints you J "

And "fuck yeahhhh!!! He was always right..."
We talked about the school days, our crushes, what next in life and ongoing, she also shared her sex story… To me she was just a kid, who had lost her way in the woods; she couldn't differentiate between Love & Lust and thus, fell prey to thy enemy…
I was there with the intent of nailing her but after realizing that she’s just a fucked up kid
I told her to get a hold of herself and enjoy life at the fullest…
At the end of the day, she bought me a pack of cigarette, Wills Classic mild and She took a MARLBORO..
Her impression in my mind was, “Woah! What A woman! “

" Woah! what a woman "

In the evening I met my buddies, we roamed around the streets. I bought some presents for my family and then we boarded a VOLVO bus to the college, the capital of awesomeness “NIT Durgapur”

For the 8th Convocation and a final meet with all my friends, not actually a final meet because I believe the  world is small, round and not enough, so people will keep on meeting each other.
This is my optimistic approach of living in the world, my survival tactics…
The bus featured a new movie called “BARFII”, enjoyed watching it all the way long.

The whole thing was going as I planned, an awesome Holiday Trip, far from hectic & monotonous corporate life…Thanked God for it
10 pm Reached Durgapur, we headed straight to Durgapur Food Mart (DFM) bar where our other besties were already waiting. We drank BUDWEISER strong, awesome beer for awesome people. Felt like Heavenly water from the Virgin Pussy…

Me & My Besties

Also had chicken tikka and Nans, then took an autorikshaw to the college. Clueless where to sleep and keep our luggage, we went to Raul’s Room and headed towards HALL-1 where we all gathered and the feast took place…
A campfire in the middle and people sat making a huge circle, drinking beer, Rum and smoking weed, "oh yeahh!!! Time to get wasted…"

Fakkads & AASA

Me & the Stuff (Hell Yeah! the stuff)

I was already drunk, Took three shots of Old MONK, and four trips of marijuana and fuck! my head started to spin as if a rotor of some chopper.
I lay low but my senses were high, every tiny word spoken by people around got captured in my mind, believe me it was a mixed feeling of fear and endless fear. The mad group of what we officially call ourselves THE FAKKADS and The AASA people started a round of fire shots, a drink with a flame, we lit the whiskey before drinking it and hell Yeah!!! Looked like a dare, so I did it and then the feeling was magnified tenfold. I lied down in the terrace with my eyes closed and some say that two juniors came and took me away to the room which I don’t remember.
I just remember two angels holding me and taking me into a bright room and then I blacked out...

In the morning I woke up and getting wasted was done, I was happy to see my plan getting executed the way i wanted it.
We went to the Jhoops, had breakfast there and again my buddies suggested to get drunk for the convocation. Voila! within a short time, we were drinking a cocktail of Rum and beer in a bucket, and yes! Weed Indeed J

CONVOCATION 2k12

So we were fucking high, went back hostel, got dressed and headed to the town hall SRIJANI, were the 8th convocation was planned…

We were high as fuck but under control, meeting old buddies & juniors in the convocation was like one big fun fair, but as the day turned to noon, all the magic had dispersed; we sat in a semi circle fashion and shared refreshments provided by college authorities.
I & my friend were fucking bored, so we took a chance at professional photography; I started clicking pictures of girls but from a safe distance, unnoticed and unrevealed, well for the first time found a Hidden Talent@ photography. Yes, obviously I am not a moron, so I took decent pictures of girls & I respect Women. #True Story.

Group pictures, Trios, and then solos with the blue colour fancy robes. All were looking smart, all were looking great but as said by someone, “Some are born great and others have greatness thrust upon them.” I could never figure out which one I belonged to.
The noon slowly turned into a fine dusky evening. I heard the professors calling B. Tech 2008-2012 batch inside the auditorium. I had to maintain silence and discipline inside the hall but within my mind, I felt like playing with a band at the center of the stage. The Dean slowly called out names department wise & alphabetically, what I thought to be a boring and silent convocation proved me wrong. There were lots of pranks or maybe accidents during the ceremony, but I believe “there are no accidents-master UGu way” like the dean handed over an empty degree holder to the student, and all the youth including me were hooting and whistling like mad baboons. Students got another student’s degree and names mispronounced, all was fun but I was hoping that none of this should happen during my Name calling and yeah! It didn't, walked the stage like a Boss, proud with the degree I worked my ass up for four years, the latter is a joke. I never took my B. Tech life seriously and now Life doesn't take my B. tech degree seriously, whatsoever back to convocation.

That's Me
After the ceremony was over, a social gathering of known & unknown people rounded up for Photography. Everyone was an artful Paparazzi including me. I have always lived in the moment and that was my very moment with all my college friends.
Again up for a toast and drinks, we went to the bar, got drunk again as it was the last night, the night for celebration. Most of us would depart the next day.
I don’t remember how I managed to get back to the hostel but in the morning everything was so fresh and good until juniors came and asked for a treat. Well, we (so called reputed seniors) were broke after organizing 3 parties still we thought once we were in the same place and when the passed out seniors neglected our request for treat, it felt bad and didn't reflect well for the seniors.
So it was a Yes for the juniors, I already had my bus tickets booked for the evening, so the treat was for lunch, but before lunch we had time to kill, so me and friends collected a guitar from a nearby room and revisited our old days, favorite songs, and band practice numbers. Sharp at 1’o clock, the juniors arrived and it was a gang of about 15 members excluding us. Took them to a fine restaurant,  they ordered and ate like giants. They were much into themselves rather than talking to us and it was all fine by me…
After lunch the juniors thanked us and a group photo was taken. Memories and Memories, that's all what's left behind to remember and rejoice J
In the evening, I boarded the bus and Bid adieu to Durgapur. By the dusty road that was familiar to me, next stop was HOME.

Bid Adieu Durgapur "We will Meet Again"
